That stadium, which the Giants call home, is already rocking the Pride colors on palm trees located right outside the park, as seen in this June 1 Twitter post. One of the most visible tributes yet will happen in sports on June 5, when MLB’s San Francisco Giants will wear jerseys and hats that honor the LGBTQ+ community during the team’s game against the Chicago Cubs at Oracle Park. This annual celebration and recognition of the LGBTQ+ community’s quest for acceptance and its contributions to society have brought about many colorful tributes, including new products such as Kellogg’s Together with Pride and the rainbow flag-inspired Lego Everyone is Awesome set.
Pride Month is being showcased in many ways as the summer kicks off.
